Family Member Needs Care – Augsburg in Augsburg

The first step is applying for a care level (Pflegegrad) at the care insurance (part of health insurance). An assessor from MDK (Medical Service) visits the person at home and evaluates care level 1–5.

From care level 2 you can choose: care allowance (for care by relatives) or care benefits in kind (outpatient care service). Combinations are possible. Care level 1 only receives a relief amount (€125/month).
